Dr. M.J. Lindeman earned her Harvard PhD in Psychology (1985) comparing how humans and AI learn. This research positioned her at the forefront of human-AI interaction decades before today's AI revolution.
Her career spans the complete evolution of computing and AI. In high school, she programmed an IBM 610 computer by wiring a plugboard in an NSF summer program for high school students. Similar plugboard technology powered the first AI neural network in 1958.
Most people think neural nets are new. They are not. They only became well-known with the release of generative AI in 2022. That is when she returned to AI work. Her specialty is how people interact with systems, especially with computers and AI.
As a solopreneur for 30+ years, she has subcontracted to Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, designing interfaces across industries from aerospace vehicle design to Series 7 financial systems. Her design projects include leading the award-winning team that put the Social Security Administration online. She also led system design workshops and executive leadership workshops.
Dr. Lindeman teaches entrepreneurs and organizations how to use REFRAME with AI to find their blind spots and see around corners. This improves decision-making for strategy, tactics, and operations.
